   Delivery
Note, your subscription officially "starts" from when you get your first copy, not from when you make payment. If there are 51 magazines in your 12 month subscription, that's always how many magazines you'll receive, no matter when they start.

Depending on the publisher, a subscription rarely begins with the current issue at the time of ordering. Due to distribution timelines, most publishers have cut-off dates for delivery of a magazine

Here are estimates of when your first issue should arrive:

  • Australian weekly and fortnightly magazines: 4-5 weeks.

  • Australian monthly magazines: 6-7 weeks.

  • PC Authority and Atomic magazines: 6-8 weeks.

  • International weekly magazines (The Economist): 4-6 weeks.

  • International fortnightly and monthly magazines: 8 weeks.

  • National Geographic: 12 weeks;(it comes by sea mail, so the first issue takes a little bit longer. The rest are fine.)

  • Financial Times, Australian Financial Review and Sydney Morning Herald: up to 15 working days (delivered by your local newsagent)
Please Note: Subscribers to the Financial Times may receive their paper a day late depending on the delivery address.

  • Quarterly and Bi-monthly magazines: may take longer to process as they are released fewer times in the year.

If more than this time elapses, please let us know, as we are happy to chase up your order with the publishers.

IMPORTANT: Please note that it is your responsibility to give notification of any service or supply problems ASAP as a publisher may not compensate if a long period of time has elapsed since initial payment.

Where we are supplied with confirmation of first delivery dates from publishers, we will forward them on to you.

  • What should I do if I am missing an issue?
If your subscription has already started but you are missing an issue, the quickest way to fix this is to contact the publisher directly as they organise your deliveries. Their details appear on the magazine's mailing label. You may be asked for your 'account number'. This also appears on the mailing label, above your name and address. Otherwise you can quote your name and address. If there is a problem with the delivery, please make sure you send notification ASAP as a publisher may not compensate you if a long period of time has elapsed.
